Darrin Salt is Managing Director of the SCA Group and he has been delivering his IT and business process expertise to clients for more than 25 years. In his leadership role at SCA, Darrin has worked on a broad range of projects relating to software, IT installations, Digital Transformation, information security and cloud computing.
Darrin’s personal ethos is all about quality customer service and ethical sales policies that have been with SCA throughout its transition from being a traditional hardware/software supplier to becoming a leading managed IT service provider. Darrin is particularly proud that in 2018, SCA was awarded as one of Britain’s Top 50 Managed IT Companies.
Before becoming Managing Director at the SCA Group, Darrin was its Chief Technical Officer and he managed projects in collaboration with some of SCA’s largest clients. He was able to ensure that customers not only received excellent service but, through high calibre technical design, the best possible tailor-made solutions.
In his spare time you can often find Darrin on his laptop, yes I.T. is his passion, but when you can prise his fingertips away from the keyboard you will probably find him in the kitchen rustling up a gourmet meal for his friends and family, walking his pet Westie or enjoying the delights of travel.

John Paul joined SCA in 2011 as part of the modern apprentice programme, after studying at Richmond College. In the two years of his apprenticeship, he developed many of the skills he needed and exposure to business computing systems rather than just theory really gave him a flying start.
Two years later, JP passed his apprenticeship and became a permanent member of the SCA team as a Junior Engineer.
When not helping our customers via remote support or paying them a visit, he likes to read, play the odd hand of cards or for a complete escape, go fishing!
